In this course students will gain new knowledge relating to the following:
- Forms of nanomaterials,
- Their significance as a separate category of materials
- Methods for the synthesis of nanomaterials
- Physical aspects of nanomaterials
- Their size dependent properties
- Various existing and emerging applications of nanomaterials
- Spectroscopic characterization of nanomaterials
Students are expected to demonstrate self-motivation and facilitate learning through principles of engaged enquiry and co-learning.
