LERNERGEBNISSE: 

In diesem Modul sollen sich Studierende folgende grundlegende Kompetenzen aneignen: 

• Auseinandersetzung mit Gruppendynamiken in Teams und Organisationen sowie Teamentwicklungsmaßnahmen
• Einblicke in gruppendynamische Prozesse: Die gesamte Entwicklung einer Gruppe, die Verteilung von Rollen, die Bestimmung von Zielen und Aufgaben, Bildung von Normen und Regeln und der Umgang mit anderen Gruppen
• Auseinandersetzung mit Faktoren von Kooperation und Performance im organisationalen Kontext
• Auseinandersetzung mit restriktiven Faktoren und Probleme, mit denen Teams konfrontiert sind: Z.B. Konflikte, Entscheidungsmodalitäten und unterschiedliche Problemlöseverständnisse

LERNINHALTE:

Teams als kleinste Einheit von Organisationen sind der Schlüsselfaktor von Wettbewerbs- und Zukunftsfähigkeit von Unternehmen. Erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit von Teams ist somit für den Erfolg ganzer Unternehmen auf organisationaler Ebene maßgebend. Dieses Modul richtet sich daher an Studierende, die sich aktiv mit Gruppendyamikprozessen und Teamentwicklungen im organisationalen Kontext auseinandersetzen möchten. Mit der zunehmenden Verschiebung von Einzelarbeit hin zu Gruppen und teamorientierten Arbeits- und Organisationsformen, wird in diesem Kurs die notwendige Sensibilität geschaffen, Eigenschaften und Dynamiken innerhalb von Gruppen zu verstehen und zu bewerten und Einblicke in Teamentwicklungsmaßnahmen zu erhalten. In der theoretischen Auseinandersetzung mit Gruppenprozessen und gruppendynamischen Dimensionen werden förderliche und restriktive Faktoren zur Arbeitsfähigkeit von Gruppen bzw. Teams erkundet. Ein Schwerpunkt wird auf kooperative Problemlösungsszenarien gelegt, da diese künftig in der Baubranche noch relevanter werden. Kooperation ist als Meta-Kompetenz sowohl auf Individual- als auch Teamebene zu verstehen. Außerdem werden Anwendungsbeispiele und konkrete Praxisbeispiele bearbeitet.

Lateinamerikanische Architektur: Moderne Architektur in Peru

Im 20. Jahrhundert hat die moderne Architektur die Theorie und die architektonische Praxis weltweit ziemlich verändert. In Peru wurden diese Ideen von Architekt:innen eingeführt und diskutiert, die die Prinzipien der internationalen Moderne in einem lokalen kulturellen und städtischen Kontext neu interpretieren wollten. Wenn man sich diese Diskussionen heute noch einmal ansieht, kann man besser verstehen, wie globale Architekturideen angepasst und unter bestimmten regionalen Bedingungen umgesetzt werden.

Das Seminar wird diese theoretischen Debatten durch die Lektüre ausgewählter Texte und durch die Identifizierung zentraler formaler Prinzipien der modernen Architektur untersuchen. Die Studierenden werden analysieren, wie diese Prinzipien im peruanischen Kontext interpretiert wurden, und sie als analytische Werkzeuge verwenden, um ausgewählte Beispiele der modernen Architektur in Peru zu analysieren. Auf diese Weise wird sichtbar, wie sich die moderne Architekturtheorie, international wie in ihrer peruanischen Neuinterpretation, auf die Praxis des architektonischen Entwerfens auswirkt.

Ziel des Seminars ist es, den Studierenden eine strukturierte Methode zur Analyse der modernen Architektur zu vermitteln und gleichzeitig ein kritisches Verständnis für die Beziehung zwischen dem internationalen Architekturdiskurs und seinen lokalen Neuinterpretationen zu fördern.

Styles Are (not) a Lie: Rethinking Style in Contemporary Architecture

Style in architecture is a broad and complex subject that has developed throughout human history. Since ancient times, architects and artists have used different styles to express their ideas and emotions and to reflect the cultural and social characteristics of their era. However, despite its significant role in architectural discourse, style has also been the subject of increasing skepticism. Its difficulty to be clearly defined, together with the diversity of contemporary architectural practices, has led many to question whether the concept remains useful today.

Throughout the twentieth century, architectural debates repeatedly challenged the relevance of style. Attempts to distance architecture from inherited stylistic traditions even produced provocative claims that “styles are a lie,”¹ reflecting a broader effort to rethink architecture in relation to the technical, cultural, and productive conditions of its time. In recent decades, the proliferation of digital design tools and the growing plurality of architectural approaches have further complicated the question. This raises a central issue for the seminar: can contemporary architecture still be described in terms of style?

This seminar invites students to debate the contemporary relevance of style in architecture through a series of readings, discussions, and case studies. By examining different interpretations of style and contrasting positions within architectural discourse, the course explores whether style remains a meaningful concept for understanding architecture today.

TOUR and the Metabolism of Crisis

Urban development in Buenos Aires is defined by a constant state of economic flux. The city evolves through a permanent state of crisis (”entre algodones”) being answered to with a sophisticated culture of SUR-VIVAL. In a context of economic despair, Transport-Oriented Urban Redevelopment (TOUR) cannot be a luxury real estate strategy. It must be a tool for socio-spatial justice.

Working around Constitución railway station – one of the most complex urban knots in the city´s south, where "Grand Architecture" of the 19th-century meets present day precarity – the studio moves beyond the passive concept of "resilience" to focus on Urban Agency. In a context of constraint, we do not ask how the city "withstands" crisis, but how it is actively re-appropriated and designed for futures without growth and urbanisms of repair.

From Urban Spectacle to the Architecture of Repair

For decades, the "Shanghai Dream" (Mèng) was synonymous with top-down, high-rise clusters and rapid economic expansion. However, as the era of "growth at all costs" slows, a yet to be defined new reality emerges... "Módū Pèng" represents the friction between the aging infrastructure of the"Magic City" (Módū) and the contemporary need for human-scale, resilient, and socially grounded urban fabric and notions of repair.

The studio explores processes of urban re-development and repair after the "shattering" of mega-development dreams, leaning into a cyberpunk inspired discourse where the high-tech skyline must now be "hacked," repaired, and retrofitted to survive a post-growth economy.

* The Studio will prepare for a SUMMER SCHOOL in Shanghai in JULY (19-25th) in cooperation with the School of Architecture & Urban Planning (CAUP) at Tongji University.

This lecture treats fundamental concepts, architectures, protocols and interfaces of current and future open services platforms – based on converging network technologies such as wireless and wired telecommunication networks, 5th Generation Mobile Networks and Software-based networks. Main topics are: understanding of software networks (SDN, NFV, EC), 5G basic principles of the E2E architecture, components and protocols of the 5G core networks, automated network management by means of AI/ML, sustainable and energy efficient telecommunication systems, (private) campus networks and relevant industrial applications, evolution towards 6G.

Das Modul ist Bestandteil der Bachelor LMW/Ernährung mir Option Lehramt. Es ist explizit keine eigenständige Lehrveranstaltung, sondern Bestandteil des Moduls Lebensmitteltechnologie II. Diese Modul setzt sich aus den Teilmodulen Berufliche Fachwissenschaft (BFW) und Verfahren der Speisenproduktion zusammen (VdSP). Das Modul VdSP wird auch dieses Semester durch unser FG angeboten.
