[SoSe 2026] Advanced conceptual and software issues of multi agent transport simulations - Code maintenance and extensions

Learning Outcomes

This class teaches in-depth knowledge in
- using,
- planning,
- developing
...agent based transport simulations based on MATSim (www.matsim.org). The focus is on the central components and their implementation in the MATSim software. Students will be able to use Java Inject syntax, use version control (git) and continuous integration. Furthermore, up-to-date result visualization, a good standard in setting up simulation experiments, and an in-depth knowledge of current MATSim topics will be discussed.

This class is highly based on mutual experimenting/lab work. Please bring your laptop to work with (we might be able to borrow some devices, if required).
