Computer programs can learn useful cognitive skills. This course will take a closer look at specific applications of machine learning algorithms.

With the help of their supervisors, students will read, understand, evaluate, and present selected research papers on machine learning methods in different application settings. Each student will present their chosen topic in a 15-minute talk (plus a 5-minute discussion) in English at the semester's end.

The 1st meeting (kick-off) will take place in person on (TBA) in MAR 4.033, at (TBA), it will take roughly 30 minutes. After the 1st meeting, you will choose the topic which you will present at the end of the semester.
