The module assumes that students know how signals and systems can be described mathematically and how filters can be designed (theoretically).
In the module, this theoretical knowledge is illustrated and clarified with the help of practical experiments. For this purpose, audio signals are generated, recorded, analyzed and filters are implemented to process audio signals.
This is necessary in many technical systems, especially when, for example, measurement information has to be processed.
