In this seminar we will read eye-opening texts from gender studies on contemporary socio-cultural issues such as neoliberalism, colonialism, climate change, feminism. Readings include texts by Judith Butler, Nancy Fraser, Cindy Katz, Jack Halberstam, Patricia Hill Collins, and others. The course will include only English-language texts and may be taught in English and/or German as needed.
