Learning Outcomes
After the successful completion of the module the students:
- know sectors contributing to GHG emissions and possible reduction potentials
- be proficient in determining relevant mitigation measures specific for a certain sector or product
- are able to determine the reduction potential of mitigation measures
- be able to provide decision support for organizations and policy regarding which mitigation measures to select in line with current political targets
- know the trade-offs of these measures with other sustainability aspects
- have the ability to select compensation measures that are in line with current scientific research as well as supported by political instruments
