„Wireless Networking Technologies" - The goal of this lecture is twofold. Firstly, to provide an overview of the modern mobile/wireless communications systems. The overview will mainly scope on the wireless data transmission systems (Bluetooth/WiFi, infrastructure/ad-hoc/mesh), but also classical cellular networks, e.g., GSM, and LTE/LTE-A, will be revised. Secondly, the aspect of integration of these systems will be discussed, with many practical details (e.g., TCP over wireless, mobile IP) on how the different technologies and solutions can be brought together in order to improve the overall service efficiency. Lecture is held in English.

Note: lecture has a new title "Wireless Networking Technologies" formerly "Modern Wireless Networks".
