In this seminar we consider algebraic multigrid methods for solving linear systems of equations. The seminar is intended for advanced bachelor or master level students with a solid background in numerical mathematics as well as advanced knowlegde of numerical linear algebra obtained, for example, in the courses NLA I+II at the TU Berlin.
The seminar participants are expected to study and present a research article, and to write a short summary of the main results of this article. Participation in the seminar is limited. Working in groups is an option.
