The course content in the following:

  •  Fundamentals: Definition of photocatalysis, photocatalyst materials, active species, mechanisms, reaction pathways.
  •  Synthesis methods for photocatalytic materials Physicochemical characterization for photocatalytic materials.
  • Photoreactors: Design aspects, operating reaction parameters and novel photocatalytic reactors for water and air treatment. 
  • Application of photocatalysis in wastewater treatment, air purification, self-cleaning, renewable energy (H2 Production), CO2 reduction both in research and industrial levels.
