In the context of this seminar we will look at the topics: public space and human centered urbanism, particularly at the urban interventions of Jože Plečnik in Ljubljana.
For more details see: https://blogs.tu-berlin.de/adip_klauck/2022/04/01/ma-wp-human-centered-urbanism-reading-plecnik/
Your work will be part of a symposium which will be held at the TU Berlin in November 2022. You will be asked to contribute to an accompanying exhibition with a personal interpretation of your reading of Plecniks interventions in Ljubljana. This can be: an art project, a text, a series of photografs, an architectural analysis, a series of drawings, a well documented prformance, collages, object trouvés ... or others. You will be given a specific format in which your project must be presented but the exact topic is free for individual interpretations as long as they are related to the re-interpretation of public space.
Please note, a short trip to Ljubljana is part of the seminar. This trip is planned for the last week in Mai. The Plečnik Symposium will be supported by SKICA Berlin (Slovenian Cultural Center) and the University of Ljubljana, Prof Boštjan Vuga partner of Sadar + Vuga architects.

This seminar officially starts on April 25th - at noon - with an introduction plus Q+A session - the first attendance appointment will take place on Wednesday, April 27th / Monday, Mai 2nd.

The practical part of my Fictions, Fantasies and Fabulations“ series will lead us to the city PARIS.

Walking : Practice // Master Modul Arch M WP(6) Intensive Programme (IP)

Series of courses: “Fictions, Fantasies and Fabulations“
Paris offers a wide range of spatial narratives and experiences that advance the practice and experimentation of “walking” as a method. By doing so we will explore contemporary artistic interventions in the city, walk to the icons of modernism and visit legendary architectural offices.
The preparation of a small brochure as well as some practical experiments while we are in Paris are part of the seminar.
Please note: this field trip will take place in September 2022 - 4 days are planned for the trip. Additionally there will be some block events during the lecture period to prepare the trip, the tasks/experiments in Paris and the final brochure. The course is rewarded with 6 credit points - which adds up to a workload of 180 hours. The precise dates of these block events and of the trip are subject to joint coordination.
